Summary of Position
We work in a collaborative, team-based environment, where service to our clients and communities and camaraderie within our office are values shared by everyone at the firm. Responsibilities include preparing correspondence and complex legal documents; serving and filing pleadings using state, federal, and appellate court filing systems; opening and closing files; organizing and maintaining paper and electronic legal files; scheduling travel; maintaining case calendars and deadlines; answering phones and directing incoming medical malpractice calls; trial preparation and meeting setup, case-related scheduling, including depositions and mediations; assisting with CLE compliance and reporting; administrative support related to memberships and associations; and other administrative duties as assigned. This position interacts with clients and attorneys, collaborates with other LAAs, is eager to be a team player, and will further the day-to-day workings of an efficient and friendly office environment.
